WTO-UK, representing the Indo-UK Tamil community, boasts a robust international network comprising seasoned policymakers, educators, and entrepreneurs. Over the years, WTO-UK has successfully organized 35 summits in the UK and European Union. In 2023, they took a significant step by hosting the first "Global Educational Leadership Achievement Award." This prestigious event aimed to acknowledge and celebrate exceptional individuals who have dedicated their careers to enhancing the field of education. The Global Edu Leaders (GEL), established on October 5, 2022 (World Teacher's Day) in London, UK, is a division of the World Tamil Organization, which was founded in 2005. Its purpose is to unite education leaders from various nations and multilateral institutions who are committed to promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4).
